External rendering

Smooth, weatherproof external render in the finish you need. Monocouche, silicone K-Rend or traditional sand-and-cement, laid with crisp reveals and clean lines.

What it covers

Detail that lasts.

Everything we handle inside this scope. Honest, hands-on work, finished to a decorator-ready standard.

Monocouche Render

Single-coat through-colour render for modern new builds and re-renders. Self-coloured, scraped finish, long life.

Silicone K-Rend

Breathable, water-repellent thin-coat render. Ideal for EWI systems and heritage properties that need to breathe.

Sand & Cement

Traditional render for repairs, heritage work, and exposed elevations. Scratch coat plus topcoat, finished sponged or floated.

Re-Render & Repair

Cracked, blown or bulging render stripped and replaced. We check the substrate first, fix what is failing, then render fresh.

Common questions

What people ask us.

What render do you recommend for a new extension?
For most new extensions we recommend silicone K-Rend or monocouche. Both give a clean, modern finish with minimal maintenance. We will talk through the options on site.
Can you render in winter?
External render needs a temperature window of around 5C to 30C, and dry weather for curing. We plan around the forecast and sheet up scaffold where we can.
How long does rendering a house take?
A typical semi takes one to two weeks including prep, base coat, topcoat and snagging. Detached and larger elevations stretch to three weeks.
Does rendering improve insulation?
A thin-coat render on its own does not add much insulation. Paired with an EWI system, it can make a dramatic difference to heat retention.
