What people ask us.

How much will EWI save on my heating bills?

It depends on your current wall construction, but solid-wall homes can see heat loss reduced by 25 to 35 percent. We can talk through expected savings on site.

How thick is the insulation?

Typically between 90mm and 150mm depending on the system and how much insulation the wall can carry. The project thickness is signed off by the system supplier.

Will it change how my house looks?

Walls come out around 100mm to 150mm thicker. Eaves, reveals and drip details are adjusted to keep the house looking balanced. Most clients prefer the finished look.

Does EWI help with damp?

When fitted to a dry wall, EWI raises the dew point outside the original masonry and can dramatically reduce cold-spot condensation. It is not a fix for rising or penetrating damp which needs separate treatment.
