Plastering & skimming

Tired walls, cracked ceilings and patched-up surfaces brought back to a glass-smooth finish. Every skim ready to paint within 3 to 5 days.

What it covers

Detail that lasts.

Everything we handle inside this scope. Honest, hands-on work, finished to a decorator-ready standard.

Full-Room Re-Skims

Whole rooms dragged back to true. Drywall prep, bonding where needed, then a two-coat skim laid on to a pencil-fine edge.

Single-Wall Patches

Chase runs, filler blowouts, or damp repairs tidied so you cannot see the join. Perfect colour match for decorators.

Ceiling Over-Skims

Artexed or cracked ceilings scrimmed and skimmed flush. No pulling down, no weeks without a room.

Coving Repairs

Broken or missing coving cut, mitred and jointed on site. Traditional profiles matched where possible.

Common questions

What people ask us.

How long does it take to skim a room?
A bedroom-sized room with four walls and ceiling typically takes one to two days. Bigger rooms and ceilings can stretch to three days if full prep is needed.
How long until I can paint?
Fresh plaster usually needs three to five days to dry fully before painting. First coat should be watered-down mist coat to seal the surface.
Can you skim over artex?
Yes. We scrim, bond and skim straight over artex in most cases, which avoids the mess and disruption of pulling ceilings down.
Do you cover furniture and floors?
Always. Dust sheets go down before any tool comes out, and floors, skirtings and fittings are masked properly. We leave the room cleaner than we found it.
